1. THE SORE FEET SONG
Interprete: ALLY KERR
Composición: ALLY KERR
Album: CALLING OUT TO YOU
Año: 2005

(Tema de apertura de la serie animada MUSHISHI)

I walked ten thousand miles, ten thousand miles to see you,
And every gasp of breath i grabbed at just to find you,
I climbed up every hills to get, to you,
I wondered ancient lands to hold, just you.

And every single step of the way, of pain,
Every single night and day,
I searched for you.
Through sandstorms and hazy dawns i reached for you.

I stole ten thousand pounds, ten thousand pounds to see you,
I robbed convenient stores coz i thought they'd make it easier.
I lived off rats and toads, and i starved for you.
I fought off giants bears and i killed them too.

And every single step of the way, of pain,
Every single night and day,
I searched for you.
Through sandstorms and hazy dawns i reached for you.
I'm tired and i'm weak, but i'm strong for you.
I wanna go home, but my love gets me through.

Lalala....

2. AVE SECA
Interprete: SPINETTA Y LOS SOCIOS DEL DESIERTO
Compocisión: LUIS ALBERTO SPINETTA
Album: LOS OJOS
Año: 1999

Gigante, sin ojos, tu vulva
De helada gema, yaga que al
Secarse besa los pétalos
Psicosis de sabia en las ramas que
Esperan moverse con tus párpados
Soleado el borde, desde donde ansias
Regresar

Ven a volar en mi ave seca
Hecha con sobras de fantasmas

Ven a volar en mi ave seca
Ah ah....

Inútil castigo, sin fuego
Tu vientre me olvida
No tengo paz
Insomne el perro
En la casa, las ganas
de partir

Ven a volar en mi ave seca
Hecha con sobras de fantasmas

Ven a volar en mi ave seca
Hecha con hilos de diamantes

pantalla dorada, pesebre, tus hombros
se encogen y así se olvida el mundo
Piazolla, la tarde, el aire,
Las ganas de partir

Ven a volar en mi ave seca
Hecha con sobras de fantasmas

Ven a volar en mi ave seca
Hecha con hilos de diamantes
Ah ah

Ven a volar en mi ave seca
Hecha con sobras de fantasmas
Ven a volar
Ven a volar
Ven a volar en mi ave seca
Hecha con hilos de diamantes

Ven a volar
Ven a volar

PHANTOM LIMB

PHANTOM LIMB

Frozen into coats
White girls of the north
Filed past one, five and one
They are the fabled lambs
A Sunday ham
The ancient snow
And they could float above the grass
In circles if they tried
A latent power I'm known to hide
To keep some hope alive
That a girl like I could ever try
Could ever try
So we just skirt the hallway signs
A phantom and a fly
Follow the lines and wonder why
There's no connection
And weakened falling eyes
In cheap shots from the tribe
And we're off to Nemarca' porch again
Another afternoon
Of the goat-head tunes and pilfered booze
We wander through her Momma's house
The milk from the window lights
Family portrait, circa '95
This is that foreign land
With the sprayed-on tans
And it all feels fine
Be it silk or slime
So, when they tap our Monday heads
Two zombies walk in our stead
This town seems hardly worth our time
And we'll no longer memorize or rhyme
Too far along in our crime
Stepping over what now towers to the sky
With no connection
So, when they tap our Sunday heads
Two zombie walk in our stead
This town seems hardly worth the time
And we'll no longer memorize or rhyme
Too far along in our crime
Stepping over what now towers to the sky
With no connection

1. AFTERGLOW
Interprete: TRAVIS
Composición: TRAVIS
Album: THE INVISIBLE BAND
Año: 2001

Feeling myself all of the time
All of the time feeling alright
Taking awhile raising a smile
Raising a smile makes it all worthwhile
But if you wanted to find peace of mind
Then you could find it anytime you liked
You are the afterglow

Feeling my way all of the time
All of the time doing just fine
Taking a page out of my life
Out of my life wouldn’t it be nice
But if you wanted to find peace of mind
Then you could find it anytime you liked

You are the afterglow
You are the midnight show
The only one I know
You come and then you go
And when you finally leave
You leave nothing for me

2. MARIA
Interprete: CAFE TACVBA
Composición: CAFE TACVBA
Album: CAFE TACUBA
Año: 1992

Sale sola de noche María,
Pena por la ciudad,
Recorriendo las calles que un dia
Negó besos en la oscuridad.

Y se nubla la vista María,
Porque duele recordar
Que los besados negados maría,
Nunca más regresarán.

En las noches por ese camino,
Algo extraño puede pasar,
Al sentir en los labios del frío,
De otros labios que no verás.

Es María quien pena en las calles
Y debajo de un farol
Roba besos y vida a la gente,
Mientras ella yace en un cajón.

María bonita,
María marchita.

SPANISH DANCE TROUPE

Woke up on monday and got ready for school
Put on my uniform it was three sizes too small
I said "dear, dear, dear teacher
I've been six years away
And ain't finished my essay
Coz rock'n'roll rules ok!"

My conclusion this summer
Was there was much too much rain
So I ran off on thursday
With a dance troupe from spain
Where wine, dance and music
Is the name of the game
From Bilbao to Madrid
My mind ain't been the same.

Oh the rehearsals went easy
And I'd learnt all the moves
I was playing a tree trunk in a forest of fools
Now Maria moved real good and I could if I would
But when your mind's your prison
Things just don't seem so good.

And then we'll be married
Then we'll be happy
And then we'll be married
Then we'll be happy.
Ooooohhhhh.
