FITO PAEZ
A Fito Páez se le puede considerar un músico en un sentido amplio, pues desde sus inicios en el rock argentino de los años 80 hasta hoy, ha desarrollado una carrera impulsada por la innovación, la sensibilidad artística y una lírica profundamente personal. Rodolfo "Fito" Páez Nació en Rosario en 1963 y comenzó como teclista de Juan Carlos Baglietto y más tarde de Charly García; en su carrera de solista, Fito ha lanzado importantes obras como Del 63 (1984), Giros (1985), Ciudad de pobres corazones (1987), entre otros. El amor después del amor (1992) fue el disco más vendido en la historia del rock argentino, estableciendo a Fito Páez como un verdadero artista de masas y un maestro de la canción popular. Sus canciones se caracterizan por contener esa agradable armonía, con letras poéticas y mucha emoción tal como se aprecia en “11 y 6”, “A rodar mi vida”, “Tumbas de la gloria”, “Dos días en la vida”, “Un vestido y un amor”, etc.
Fito ha tenido la oportunidad de colaborar con artistas como Mercedes Sosa, Joaquín Sabina, Charly García, Luis Alberto Spinetta, Caetano Veloso, Pablo Milanés y muchos otros; además, su versatilidad lo ha llevado a ser el productor de cine y novela. En 2021 obtuvo el premio Grammy latino al Mejor Álbum de Pop/Rock por La conquista del espacio, grabado en los estudios Capitol de Los Ángeles.
A más de 40 años de vida musical, Fito Páez es una figura con fuerte impacto para el rock en castellano entre los músicos de todos los continentes.
